Coming up with essential oil blends that pique both of your interests intimately, enhance energy, relieve tension, or relax the senses is a fun activity that helps you learn about one another on a whole different level. Today, I have 6 Valentine’s Day massage oil recipes that are sure to please both you and your partner.
6 Valentine’s Day Massage Oil Recipes
What’s really fun about the essential oils in these blends is you don’t need to limit them to just massage oils. You can put them in your diffuser, in a bubble bath, in a room spray, and so much more! For V-day, I think a sensual massage with your significant other is one of the epitomes of intimacy so I wanted to give you a few options to think over. You can choose which recipes fit your mood, alter them to your liking, and just run with it.
You can use any carrier oil you like for the base of these recipes like sweet almond, avocado, olive oil, etc. Feel free to make larger or smaller quantities to suite your needs! Here’s a helpful blog post on dilutions and conversions to help you keep things safe and comfortable for topical use.
Valentine’s Day Massage Oil for Every Occasion
1. Energizer Blend
Since Valentine’s Day falls on a Tuesday this year it’s very likely that you and your significant other will both be at work all day. It can be difficult to muster up the energy to dress up, go out to dinner and movie, and be loving and attentive after a long day so this blend is for those who need an extra energy boost. It’s perfect for clarifying the mind and upping your energy levels!
Here’s what you need to make Energizer (3% blend – aka 18 drops of essential oil):
2. Euphoria Blend
The oils in this blend are sensual and enhance intimacy with their intoxicating scent. Even though I am not a huge fan of ylang ylang, this blend has a nice floral note that’s perfect for promoting closeness and setting the mood for spicy occasions. It’s an exceptionally romantic blend that’s sure to attract your husband’s attention! It’s one of my favorite valentine’s day massage oil recipes.

This blend is similar to Energizer because it gives your mind a serious wake-up call. If you’re one of those people who can daydream all day and can’t stay focused then this is the perfect blend for increasing alertness, focus, and concentration. Might be good to use especially if you’re going on a first date.

It’s a busy and demanding world we live in and the effects of stress, overwhelm, and the constant hustle and bustle in our everyday lives wear us down.
