How My Essential Oil Journey Began: From Overwhelmed to Empowered
I wasn’t always confident about using essential oils.
I remember when I first started, I felt overwhelmed by all the different brands, uses, and safety precautions.
One day while cooking dinner, I accidentally burned my finger taking a roast out of the oven. I didn't want to drop a whole roast on the floor so got the dutch oven onto the stove as quickly as I could but ended up with a second-degree burn as a result.
As luck would have it, I didn’t have any burn cream on hand, but I remembered reading that lavender essential oil was one of the best for treating burns.
Feeling a bit unsure but hopeful, I mixed a drop of lavender essential oil with some Neosporin ointment and applied it to the burn.
To my surprise, it worked quickly! The pain entirely subsided (something that almost never happens with fresh burns), and over the next week, I witnessed the burn healing faster than expected.
That moment was a turning point for me. It wasn’t just about reading information anymore—it was real.
I experienced firsthand how effective essential oils could be when used properly. I started diving deeper into how oils like lavender could replace certain conventional treatments and help with everything from skin issues to stress relief.
From there, my passion grew.
I realized that essential oils could be simple, affordable, and incredibly powerful when used with the right guidance.
Now, I’m here to share my knowledge and help others who, like me, have felt overwhelmed by the sea of essential oil information and need clear, practical tips to experience the real benefits.
