What a wonderful time of year fall is! Chillier weather, hot mugs of chai tea, chunky sweaters, morning slippers, and thick cozy blankets. The air is filled with baking aromas, spices, and homecooked meals adorn every table. Scent is such a huge part of enjoying autumn in my humble opinion. Without the scent of wood smoke, chill air, and delicious food, autumn just isn’t the same.
In the past few years I have really enjoyed concocting new essential oil blends for fall that really bring back memories whether it was watching my grandmother make pumpkin pie or recalling the scent of mulled wine wafting through the house. Essential oils have the ability to transport you back to a fond moment in time.
In today’s post, I wanted to share with you some blends that help get you in the mood for fall!

These essential oil blends for fall are wonderful to diffuse while guests are over visiting or just when you want a little comfort this season. They’re cozy and delicious! I particularly love this diffuser for large rooms and this one for smaller rooms. You can read more about picking out the perfect diffuser for your needs here.
You can also triple these recipes and add them to a 2oz spritzer bottle. Just add the oils and then fill to the shoulder with water. Shake well before spritzing around the house.
Also, don’t miss out on my DIY Poopouri Spray for the bathroom! Total life saver 🙂

What of these blends would be considered kid safe? I know cinnamon and rosemary is not.

How many mL of water did you base the number of drops on? Excited to try some of these scents this season! I typically use a diffuser that holds 450mL so I was unsure if anything needed to be doubled.
Tash says
Hi Katie!
I just use the number of drops as a basic starting point 🙂 Try out the 10 drops and see if the strength is where you want it, you can always add more or less!

I love the smell of fresh pines trees, hopefully I can recreate these blends as I am allergic to somethings, highly sensitive to smelly stuff such as perfume, and I have asthma. Thanks for posting these blends will try it out.

I hope they work out for you Serena! 🙂
